Parade Forms:
 
2012 CU Homecoming Parade
Saturday, November 3rd
Staging: 8:00 a.m.
Parade: 9:00 a.m.
 
Staging:
Stage will take place on Pennsylvania between 13th and 11th. Staging will begin at 8:00 a.m. All floats wishing to be judged must be in the staging area by 8:45 a.m.
 
Parade Route:
The parade will begin at 13th and Pennsylvania heading south on 13th. The parade will turn east College and then South on 14th.  At 14th & Euclid, the parade will again head east to 16th where it will turn left to Broadway. The parade will cross Broadway and turn left on Euclid in front of the UMC. The Broadway crossing will be done in coordination with both the light at 16th and the turn signal onto Euclid. The CUPD has already agreed to synchronize those lights for that hour. They will also have police at that intersection.
 
Once on campus, floats will continue down Euclid to 18th. At 18th they will turn right onto 18th and then left on to Wardenburg Drive. Floats will be directed to the lots behind Wardenburg Health Center where they will be allowed to park until after the football game.
 
No parking Enforcement
No parking signs and the towing of un-removed cars would only take place in the staging area and in the business district portion of the parade. Those blocks affected would be the 1100 & 1200 blocks of Pennsylvania, the 1100 block of 13th and the 1300 block of College. 
 
Announcing Stand
The viewing and announcing stand will be located on 13th Street in front of the Fox Theater. The PA will consist of the two speaker sound system provided by DBI.
 
Dispersal of Participants
The floats will be allowed to park in the lots behind Wardenburg. Participants will disband in this area.
 
Post Parade Breakfast
The university will be hosting donuts and coffee for all participants on Farrand field immediately following the parade.
